There are so many things to say and not enough blog space to write them all

I’m a civil engineering major, co-oping in a waste water treatment plant in Brooklyn. I don’t live in a dorm, but instead have my own apartment. I commute to work, pay my own rent and cook my own dinners. Co-op is a mini version of real life for me, I’m learning how to balance my check book and how to apply what I learned in the classroom. I don’t want to talk about ceasing every opportunity at work, or how the city can be scary. I want to chronicle my experience as a Co-op that only a unique school like northeastern could offer in what I think is the best city in the world
Summer has been interesting. I lived in Willis Hall for the summer I term and travelled to see my roommate from freshman year in Puerto Rico, and to where I live in Port St. Lucie Florida. Moving to New York was stressful, expensive and tiring but I have loved every minute of being here.
I’ve met some cool people and reconnected with old friends since I got here. I bought a camera with my money that I have saved so far. When I get all of my photos from co-op online ( I haven't found a place to upload them all yet besides facebook..) I will post them here, they are mostly pictures of new york and the people who have made this adventure so special.

Until next time,
Gina
